Anthem
My book is about the "dark" ages of the future. People don't use any modern day technologies, they have all returned to the old times, using fire as light, walking instead of driving, etc. People are put into groups according to their physical and mental capabilites. The story is about a group of men in a group called Equality-7-2521. This group of men are pretty smart and beginning to figure out the way their society is ruining natural life. I am enjoying the book, it's very entertaining.

This book seems to be really interesting, something I would like myself. Do you think that possibly one day our world will get to that point? Where we dont use any of our technologies any more and we just go back to being "old fashioned?"
honestly, i don't think we will ever return to our "old fashioned" ways. I think so because I believe that the majority of the people on Earth are just too stubborn and selfish to accept a plateaugh of technological advances. It would take a main leader to rule everybody back into the days before modern technologies. People are just too stubborn to be able to take orders from just one person, therefore I don't think anybody will ever be able to convince people to go back in technology. Also, people love life to be easy, the easier the better...but decreasing our technological level will make life for people a lot harder.
